Disaster recovery continues in the Diocese of Lake Charles. Monthly snapshots highlight statistics that help illustrate where the Diocese is in the ongoing repair and rebuilding process, estimated to cost between $135–$150 million dollars.
LAKE CHARLES — The Stella Maris Seafarers Center in the Diocese of Lake Charles is seeking part-time help and volunteers to work 20-25 hours per week transporting sailors locally while they are in port. Applicant must possess TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one; must be available to work evenings and weekends. Great job for retirees.
