LAKE CHARLES — There have been more than 4,000 babies’ lives saved since New Life Counseling opened its doors in 1984. The pregnancy resource center located at 631 East School Street is expanding its services to save even more innocent lives.

Bishop Glen John Provost celebrated his 15th Anniversary of being the Bishop of the Diocese of Lake Charles on April 23, 2022! He was consecrated to the Episcopacy and installed as the third Bishop of Lake Charles on Monday, April 23, 2007. The Diocese of Lake Charles issued a statement on Tuesday, May 3, in response to a Politico report that a leaked draft opinion, written by Justice Samuel Alito, suggests the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn Roe v.
