LAKE CHARLES -- Bishop Glen John Provost has appointed Deacon Brian J. Soileau as Assistant to the Vicar for Clergy, effective Monday, December 17, 2018.
Deacon Soileau was ordained to the permanent diaconate in 2014 and lives in Oakdale. He will act as a consultor and liaison between the Vicar for Clergy, Very Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau, V.E., and the permanent deacons of the diocese, while continuing in his service as Associate Director of Saint Charles Center.
