DERIDDER — The Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles, installed Reverend V. Wayne LeBleu as Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
As part of the Rite of Installation, Bishop Provost introduced Father LeBleu as Pastor to the parishioners. Following the Liturgy of the Word and Bishop Provost’s homily, Father LeBleu led the congregation in the Profession of Faith. At the conclusion, with his hand resting on Sacred Scripture, Father LeBleu recited the Oath of Fidelity. The Rite concluded with the signing of documents by the bishop and the new pastor.Father LeBleu, who was assigned to St. Joseph Parish, effective July 1, 2022, had previously served as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 3, 1995, by Bishop Jude Speyrer.
