Welcome to the Diocese of Lake Charles

Bishop Glen John Provost has issued the following statement regarding reparation for the acts of blasphemy that have and are taking place in our country and throughout the world:

“The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has asked all parishes in the United States to offer a period of adoration and to pray the Litany of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus this Friday, June 16 — the Solemnity itself — in reparation for all acts of blasphemy, past and present. I fully endorse this request and am asking all Catholics in the Diocese of Lake Charles — clergy and laity — to join me in adoration and praying the Litany of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on this Solemnity, offering this prayer as an act of reparation for the blasphemies against our Lord.”
