From the desk of the Bishop:
I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Deacon George Stearns to the position of canonical Chief Finance Officer of the Diocese of Lake Charles, effective January 2, 2022.
Deacon Stearns needs no introduction for he has faithfully and selflessly served the Diocese in various capacities over the forty-one years of its history. His experience and expertise in areas vital to the financial administration of the Diocese have proved invaluable. I am certain that he will work conscientiously with the staff of the Fiscal Office, the Diocesan Finance Council, and me to continue the mission and ministry of the Church in Southwest Louisiana.
