LAKE CHARLES – On Feb. 13, The Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles, made the following appointments:
The Very Reverend Keith Pellerin as Dean of the East Deanery of the Diocese while remaining Pastor of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder.
The Reverend Jerish George, M.O.C. as Pastor of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin. Father Jerish was previously Administrator of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elton. Father Jose Vattakunnel, Pastor of St. Paul Parish, will resume the pastoral care of St. Joseph Parish in Elton.
Upon his request, Bishop Provost has granted The Reverend Jacob Scott Conner a leave of absence. He remains a priest in good standing.
