LAKE CHARLES -- The Abrazando Cristo Mission Program wishes to thank the 629 ticketholders of the recent Big Cash Giveaway Fundraiser for the mission trip to Nicaragua and the Johnnie Thbodeaux Memorial Golf Tournament for their support to the mission program.
The Big Cash Giveaway Fundraiser raised a profit of $57,400 to benefit the work of the June 30 to July 9 mission. Winners of the raffle: first prize ($5,000) - LVT ticket no. 0494; second prize ($1,000) - DSC ticket no. 0544; and third prize ($500) - OLL ticket no. 0573.
The golf tournament gave $25,000 for the work of the mission.
"Thank you to the 51 teams who played in the tournament," said Msgr. Daniel Torres, program director. "May God bless you all for your financial and prayerful support for the mission."
