LAKE CHARLES – The Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles, has approved a leave of absence from priestly ministry in the diocese to Rev. John Huckaby, pastor of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Moss Bluff.
Father Huckaby continues to possess faculties of a priest of the Diocese of Lake Charles, according to Bishop Provost.
His leave will be effective on Thursday, June 1.
Father Albert Borel remains Parochial Vicar at St. Theodore.
