Saint Charles Center is the Retreat/Spirituality facility of the Diocese, which opened in 1995 during the Episcopate of The Most Reverend Jude Speyrer, First Bishop of Lake Charles. Father Whitney Miller serves as Director, Deacon Brian Soileau serves as Associate Director, Michelle Monceaux is Assistant Director and Deborah Faul is the Administrative Assistant for the Center.

The Center is composed of the Katharine Drexel Conference Center and Tabor Retreat House.

Katharine Drexel Conference Center has two dormitory style sleeping rooms, a kitchen, a chapel, and a large meeting room. It is located near the front of the property.

At Tabor, retreatants will find the Oustalet Administration Building, Brulet Hall (the Meeting and Dining facility) along with two residence halls, Cramers and Peeters. Each of the residence halls has 18 bedrooms. Each guest room has sleeping accommodations for two people and there is a small conference room, library, and kitchen in each residence hall. Tabor Retreat House is situated on a bluff overlooking the marsh near the West Fork of the Calcasieu River. A wooden walkway runs over the marsh from the Center to the river and the Easley Pavilion.
